1933 Dr. Kossy Strauss joins the company
1934 USA: First agent appointed
1934 UK: The company moves to larger premises in Birmingham and the name Foseco is conceived
1939 France: Foseco S.a.r.l registered
1939 Innovation: The product range extended to fluxes for iron casting, coatings and exothermic compounds
1939 Canada: Agent appointed
1939 South Africa: Agent appointed
1939 Australia: Agent appointed
1939 India: Agent appointed
1939 New Zealand: Agent appointed
1942 UK: First internal magazine "The Mixer" published
1942 Mineral Separations Limited takes a 20% stake in the company - significant working capital

1957 Japan: Foundry Services Japan registered - the first UK company to be registered in Japan
1958 Australia: Foseco Pty Ltd registered
1958 India: Joint Venture company registered

1960 Belgium: Foseco SA registered
1961 Innovation: Development of insulating boards and exothermic antipiping fluxes for use during Ingot Casting
1963 Brazil: Foseco Industrial e Commercial Ltda registered
1964 Foseco became a Public Company quoted on the London Stock Exchange
1967 Group turnover exceeds £20million and 3500 are employed worldwide
1968 Hong Kong: Foseco Industries Asia Ltd incorporated in Hong Kong
1969 Foseco and Minerals Separations merge to form Foseco Minsep
1971 South Korea: Joint Venture company registered - a first for a British company.
1971 Innovation: Development of insulating refractory Tundish lining boards for use in Steelmills
1973 Innovation: Introduced magnesium based iron desulphurisers onto the Steelmills market
1974 Taiwan: Joint Venture company registered
1976 Philippines: Foseco Philippines incorporated
1978 Venezuela: Fosven CA established
1979 Greece: Foseco Hellas SA established
1979 Singapore: Foseco Singapore established
1980 UK: Eric Weiss Knighted by the Queen in recognition of services to British industry
1981 Egypt: Foseco SAE established
1982 UK: Foseco acquire Ciba Geigy foundry chemical division
1984 World-wide Licence Agreement with Kawasaki/Sakai for the sale of Continuous Casting mould fluxes for use in Steelmills
1985 New Zealand: Foseco New Zealand established
1986 Portugal: Joint Venture company registered
1986 Indonesia: PT Foseco Indonesia incorporated
1988 Innovation: Introduced spray tundish lining systems into Steelmiils market
1990 Foseco Minsep became part of Burmah Castrol Group
1990 France: Foseco established a joint venture, Servimetal SA, with Aluminium Pechiney in which Foseco held 65% of shares
1991 UK: Queens award for Technological achievement
1991 UK: Acquired Dyson Black refractory business
1992 Thailand: Joint Venture company commenced operations
1993 UK: Queens award for Environmental achievement
1994 China: Joint Venture company registered
1995 UK: Foseco HQ - Foseco International relocates to Drayton Manor
1996 China: Foseco (Foundry) China registered - the first solely owned foundry supply company in China
1997 Foseco purchased SMC from Chemetall
1999 France: Foseco acquired the remaining 35% of Servimetal SA, France
2000 Burmah Castrol acquired by BP Amoco
2001 Foseco sold to Foseco (Jersey) Ltd, MBO backed by Cinven Private Equity Group
2001 Poland: Foseco Polska registered
2002 Czech Republic: Foseco Czech registered
2002 Innovation: Global Strategic Partnership with Magma - 3D flow and solidification simulation
2003 Fosbel business divested from Foseco Group portfolio - MBO
2003 Remet business divested from Foseco Group portfolio - MBO
2003 Turkey: Foseco Dokum registered
2003 Innovation: Global Strategic Partnership with Dynea
2004 Chem-Trend business divested to Freudenberg Chemical Specialities Group
2004 Russia: Foseco Russia registered
